Project Aware Fish ID Course
You’ll find you enjoy your dives even more when you recognize the creatures that you see. The fun part about this course is you can use the skills you learn on every scuba diving vacation because once you learn the main fish families and characteristics it will help you decipher the species you see all over the world.

Course Contents
During two dives you gain eyes-on experience in looking for and identifying the fish you see underwater. You’ll learn:

How to identify characteristics of local fish families and species

Fish survey techniques and strategies

How to practise fish identification dive planning, organization and procedures
During the course, you'll

attend a short lecture on the basics of how to identify fish families
-
do two (2) dives in open water (2 days)
Prerequisites

PADI Open Water Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another organization)

Minimum age 10 years
Fish ID Diver Specialty: from HKD1,800 per person
Course fee includes professional instruction, course manual, tanks & weights used during the course and certification fee.
