PADI Master Scuba Diver

It is not one single course that makes you a Master Scuba Diver. You'll earn the rating through various courses and diving experience. You'll earn the Master Scuba Diver rating, when you

 

  • are a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another agency)

 

  • are a PADI Rescue Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another agency)

 

  • have at least five (5) PADI Specialty Diver certifications

 

  • have logged a minimum of 50 dives

 

 

There are several Specialty Courses for you to choose from. You can earn the Specialty ratings one at the time or package a number of courses together for more intensive training, if you so prefer. Any five specialties will count towards PADI Master Scuba Diver rating, but good Specialty packages you can do fully or partially in Hong Kong would be

 

 

Skills & Knowledge Package

  • Enriched Air (Nitrox) - no dives

  • Peak Performance Buoyancy - 2 dives (or 3hrs in a swimming pool)

  • Underwater Navigator - 3 dives

  • Search&Recovery - 4 dives

  • Night Diver - 3 dives

 

 

Eco Set

  • Project AWARE Specialist - no dives

  • Project AWARE Fish Identification - 2 dives

  • Project AWARE Coral Reef Conservation - no dives

  • Underwater Naturalist - 2 dives

  • Peak Performance Buoyancy - 2 dives (or 3hrs in a swimming pool)

 

 

Adventure Set

  • Deep Diver* - 4 dives

  • Peak Performance Buoyancy - 2 dives (or 3hrs in a swimming pool)

  • Wreck Diver* - 4 dives

  • Enriched Air (Nitrox) - no dives

  • Night Diver - 3 dives

Once you fulfill the Master Scuba Diver requirements, please let us know. We will help you with the Master Scuba Diver application and who knows, we may even have a voucher to waive the PADI application fee...

 

PADI MSD

PADI Master Scuba Diver rating is the highest recreational rating in the PADI system. Master Scuba Diver rating shows that you are an experienced diver who has committed to training and improving your skills.
