FREELANCE INSTRUCTOR SERVICES
We welcome instructors from all training agencies. If you are an instructor from a training agency other than PADI or PSAI, we are happy to provide the facilities you'll need, but you will need to provide the training materials according to your agency's standards.
If you are an independent instructor, we can provide you with the student materials, classrooms, pool sessions and open water dives. PADI, EFR and PSAI Materials are available in English and Chinese. You can book our facilities either session by session or take advantage of our Instructor Packages for the most common courses.
Our Facilities
Classrooms
We have two classrooms available for you to use. The bigger one is suitable for groups up to 12 students at the time, the smaller one for 1-6 students. The classrooms are equipped with computers, PADI and other videos, PADI and PSAI Powerpoint lesson guides, whiteboards and other training aids. PADI and PSAI exam booklets and answer sheets are available.
You can also use PADI eLearning or Touch programs with Pro-Diver's instructor packages.
Swimming pool
You have several pool options during the dive season. Sessions are organized at Lei Cheng Uk and Morse Park outdoor swimming pools. Sessions at other pools are arranged occassionally. Please refer to the Pool Schedules for session times.
Chi Fu Fa Yuen swimming pool is currently a premium option. It is a heated indoor swimming pool and offers shallow water (shallow enough to stand up) at both ends as well as a deeper part and is in many ways perfect for Open Water course, Discover Scuba Diving and Scuba Review programs. The water temperature is constant 28-30C throughout the year. Pool sessions are three hour sessions and can be booked according to the pool schedule.
All scuba gear including tanks are at the pool. Changing rooms, showers and lockers are available and included in the pool fees. For lockers, the pool requires a deposit of HKD20 per key which you get back upon returning the keys.
Open water dives
Open water dives in the packages are from a boat. The boats run weekends, Saturday and Sunday as well as public holidays usually between April-December. During the peak season there are additional boats on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Boats run either half-day (9am-2pm and 2pm-6pm) or full-day (9am-5:30pm). Night dives are typically available on Saturday evenings (5:30pm-9pm). Boats leave from Sai Kung pier (the old pier) in Sai Kung town with the meeting point at the far end of the pier. The boats are operated by Diving Express.
Student Equipment
The core courses - Open Water, Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver - include student equipment. For other courses, equipment rental is available at extra charge.

Contact us for the current student manual, facility rental and instructor package prices. We'll work with you in scheduling your class.
You will need to be prepared to show proof that you are a current, teaching status instructor.
For pool sessions and open water dives you will need to provide equipment sizes for any equipment you will need for your students when booking.
Advanced Open Water Diver
